Returns Policy

This returns policy is effective from 1st May 2017.

Please ensure that upon delivery you have received your full order in an acceptable condition before signing for it.

Can I just send the item back?
No, you need to let our Customer Service Team know before you send anything back. They need to check that it can be returned or if they can simply credit your account. If you return it without first notifying Customer Service, the item may be returned to you, incurring a delivery cost which will be added to your account. Alternatively the item can be stored for collection, which must occur within 48 hours of Sign & Digital receiving the item. If you don’t collect it or if we can’t return it to you, it will be discarded.

What we will take back.

  • Any item, which when used correctly, a fault arises.
  • Any standard stock item over €15 (excluding tools, accessories, or fixtures and fittings).
  • Any item that has been damaged in transit to you.
  • Any item sent to you in error by Sign & Digital.

What we won’t take back.

  • Any item that does not have a returns docket attached to it.
  • Anything that has been ordered by you in error or where you no longer need the items you ordered.
  • Anything ordered especially for you that we do not hold as standard stock.
  • Any items ordered by the metre (unless an error has been made by Sign & Digital).
  • Any items you received more than 7 working days prior to the items delivery date.
  • Any tools, accessories or fixtures and fittings, unless an error has been made by Sign & Digital.

How long you have, to let us know.
Please ensure that upon delivery you have received your full order in an acceptable condition before signing for it. You have 48 hours from the date of delivery to let us know if you have received a damaged delivery. You have 7 working days from the date of delivery to inform us if we have made an error with your order or an item is faulty. You cannot return an item if you notify us outside of this timeframe.

What you need to do if you want to return an item.

  1. Check that it fits the criteria for which you can return an item.
  2. Call our Customer Service Team on 01 427 5240. They will ask you a few questions to determine how best to deal with your return. If it is eligible and must be returned, our Customer Service Team will send you a Returns Docket to attach to the item when you send it back.
  3. Send the item back with the Returns Docket attached within 7 working days of the return being logged. We will process the return and if eligible for a refund or credit note, issue that within 21 days.

What we need from you.

  • Your item needs to be in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition.
  • It needs to be suitably packaged up for return to us by the courier.
  • If it is damaged, please notify us and provide supporting photographs within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • If you let us know as soon as possible that you need to return something, we will give you instructions for the next steps, there and then. We will outline clearly what will happen next with you directly on that call.
  • We will process any returns within 21 days of being received by us.

Please note:

Any items to be returned to Sign & Digital Materials Ltd remain the property of the customer until a full returns inspection and verification has been carried out. After which Sign & Digital Materials Ltd reserves the right to refuse the returned item(s).

Where a refund has been authorised due to unavailability of goods or return of faulty goods, please allow up to 7 working days for funds to appear in your account. Sign & Digital Materials Ltd will issue refunds within 24 hours of authorisation for same and Sign & Digital Materials Ltd will not be held responsible for any delays with funds being credited to your account as this is the responsibility of your issuing Bank.
